A-1 recently installed my ducted heat pump system. They were one of the most professional contractors I have worked with. The initial person who did the walk-through was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The team that installed was also very professional, taking the time to walk through options for arranging the ductwork in my attic. I would definitely recommend using them, and will keep them in mind for future work.

Because of the heat waves and the fires in the last several years, we decided to have air conditioning installed and at the same time replace our 30 year old furnace. After receiving estimates and presentations from 4 companies we decided to go with A-1 Guaranteed. The presentation was very professional and the proposal quite competitive. Every question was answered and all of my requests were, in fact, granted. Installation was done in a day by a very skilled crew of technicians. The new system and its operation was thoroughly explained to me and it works perfectly and, in fact, we have saved tremendously in PG&E costs during the first month of operation. The testing and the permitting went smoothly and without a hitch. The whole experience has been stress free and, in fact, quite informative and enjoyable.

We have been an A-1 Guaranteed customer for six years. We have been very satisfied with their work and service plans. Our past furnace service was done by a technician named Jacob. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Once the work was completed, he thoroughly reviewed his service report. He was by far the best in taking the time to walk me through his findings by showing me pictures of the very items associated with the report. In a way, this gave me an understanding of what’s going in our attic. If possible, we will try a by-request to have him perform maintenance/service next year. Scheduling is very flexible and easy. We have been customers with A1 for over 25 years. Each job and upgrade they have completed for is is handled perfectly. One furnace had an odd vibration that just could not be locate. One day the installer shows up and says he has an idea what was causing vibration. He did his magic and found the problem, a simple fix was the answer.

Today Brian came by for the semi-annual checkup. He knows where everything is. No issues. Will see him in December. A-1 Guaranteed is the best there is and they are a longtime local business that does a lot in the community.

The installers were polite – the way it “use to be”, even though they were younger. I thought the younger generation lacked the respect we were taught and they showed us otherwise – thanks.

Very knowledgeable people. I was really impressed when the owner himself came out the day we signed the contract. He changed a few items i.e. a bigger unit at no additional cost to us. The house was very clean when they left. My only regret was not going through them directly; however I have no qualms with Home Depot. Thanks everyone for making our home a place we look forward to coming home to on a hot day.
