The Switch Is On
The Switch Is On is a campaign collaborative that promotes home electrification in order to cut the use of and dependence on fossil fuels and natural gas. The main goal of the organization is to inform and educate citizens of the Bay Area about powering homes and workspaces with clean energy.

TECH Clean California
TECH Clean California helps advance the mission throughout the state to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. The initiative promotes and encourages the usage of low-emissions heating technologies, including heating for water as well as space.
The initiative provides numerous incentives at various points in time to help drive the campaign for clean heating, especially for lower-income customers and those in disadvantaged areas of the state. Clean HEET (High-Efficiency Electric Transition)
Income-qualified customers can receive up to $10,500 to cover energy-efficient upgrades. Learn about the Clean HEET Program here!
Note: This program requires the permanent removal of an existing wood-burning stove, fireplace, or insert.
Heat Pump Water Heater Incentives
Combine local and state programs to save thousands. MCE offers $2,500 for HPWH installations, while Golden State Rebates provide up to an additional $900 back.
FLEXmarket
A-1 Guaranteed is proud to be a FLEXmarket provider. The FLEXmarket program offers incentives and rebates that can reward customers for upgrading appliances and equipment, installing electric vehicle chargers and/or batteries that can store and shift energy, and more.
The main idea for the promotion of these upgrades is to ease the load on California’s power grids, especially during the summer. Decreasing power grid emergencies is the goal; learn about this rebate from FLEXmarket.
Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Rebates
Residents in participating CCA territories (like MCE or Ava) are eligible for an additional $500 toward high-efficiency Heat Pump systems. Find out more about CCA Rebates here!
Albany, CA Heat Pump HVAC Rebates
City of Albany Heat Pump HVAC Rebates: Residents of Albany can receive rebates ranging from $1,500 to $4,500 for heat pump installations and electrical panel upgrades.
Note: Low-income households are eligible for double the standard rebate amounts.
