What is Energy Upgrade California?
It's a limited-time opportunity to get up to $3,150 through the BayRen Home Upgrade Package or up to $6,500 through the Advanced Home Upgrade Package just for making qualifying energy efficiency upgrades to your home. The Energy Upgrade CaliforniaTM program was created to help California reduce energy use. So, if you're ready to do more than turn down your thermostat to make your home more energy efficient, consider upgrades designed to make your systems work together to help lower your utility bills.
The program is a partnership between the California Energy Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission, and it's financially supported in part by local utility companies. Energy Upgrade California is a win-win for everyone. California wins with decreased long-term energy use, and homeowners win by saving money.
Why should you upgrade?
Depending upon the upgrade you select, you may be eligible to receive incentives of up to $6,500. That's money in the bank for something you may have been planning to do anyway.
Upgrading your home to be more energy efficient can mean lower bills every month.
When your home is more energy efficient, it can be more comfortable-cozy and warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Stop Your Money From Going Out the Window!
Did you know many homes have leaks that allow your conditioned air to escape outside? This causes higher utility bills and your equipment to work harder to get to a comfortable temperature. A-1 Guaranteed can seal leaks, saving energy, comfort and your hard-earned money from going out the window.
Contractors participating in this program, like A-1 Guaranteed, are specially trained to find improvements that an average homeowner wouldn't. They may find you more energy savings that will save you money.
Making your home more energy efficient helps the environment-an important step that everyone should take.
What is a whole-house approach?
Instead of doing a few home improvements here and there to make your home more energy efficient, think about your whole home as a complete system. Heating, air conditioning, and water heating all work together to help you live comfortably while lowering your utility bills. And Energy
Upgrade California gives you the professional resources you need to take a whole-house approach.
What types of upgrades qualify for incentives?
Hot water pipe insulation
Thermostatic shutoff valve
Combustion safety testing
Low-flow showerheads (recommended)
