The Energy Upgrade California® program was created to help reduce energy
usage throughout the state by offering incentives to homeowners for a limited
time. These incentive packages encourage homeowners to take a "whole house"
approach by combining several related improvements at once to increase a home's
overall energy efficiency and achieve greater savings. By working with participating
contractors, homeowners can choose from two incentive options-the Basic Upgrade
Package or the Advanced Upgrade Package-based on their improvement needs and
budget.
